Artifact in Machine Learning
In Machine Learning, Artifact is a term used to describe an output of a process. It is every object created or given shape by a machine.
It is mostly used in a Machine Learning Pipeline where we have processes that are executed one after the other.
For example, in a process of Data preprocessing, artifact is a preprocessed dataset. In a process of a Model training, artifact is a model and so on and so forth. These artifacts (outputs) may be used as inputs for the next process.
